Executive Order No. 72 providing for the preparation and implementation of the comprehensive land use plans of local government units pursuant to the Local Government Code of 1991 and other pertinent laws.

This Order concerns the implementation of comprehensive land use plans by local authorities in accordance with criteria and standards of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLRB), who shall review, evaluate and approve land use plans. Procedures are outlined for cities and municipalities, and provinces. Land use plans shall be formulated on municipal level by Policy Recommending Bodies. Provincial Land Use Committees shall approve plans of cities and other municipalities. The Regional Land Use Committee shall approve the plans of provinces. (6 sections)
