The notice under section 55, comma c, to the Central Government or the State Government or any authorized officer, as the case may be, shall be given in the form A annexed in these rules. The person giving notice to the Central Government or the State Government or any authorized officer shall send the notice by registered post to: (a) The Director of Wild Life Preservation, Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi; and (b)(i) The Secretary to the concerned State Government/Union Territory in charge of Wild life, or (ii) The Chief Wild Life Warden of the concerned State Government/Union Territory, or (iii) Any authorized officer of State Government/Union Territory. Notices concern alleged offences and relative complaints by persons other than Director of Wild Life Preservation and Chief Wild Life Warden.
