This Decree-Law establishes the principles for carrying out controls and granting a quality certificate to vegetable and fruit products. It consists of 10 articles laying down sanitary requirements to be met by such products in order to be placed on the market. It also makes provisions for transport, import-export, etc. and specifies competent authority for carrying out the aforementioned controls.
