An Ordinance to regulate the keeping of animals in the Region of Vorarlberg. The basic idea is that animals have to be protected and well treated; for example, they have to be well and regularly fed and kept in appropriate places with enough space and the right climatic conditions. Thereafter the Ordinance treats issues such as the keeping of animals in agriculture (Part 2); in particular, this Part deals with the keeping of pigs, horses, sheep and goats and poultry. Part 3 governs the keeping of other domestic animals and especially of dogs. The Ordinance consists of 56 articles divided into 4 Parts and 7 Annexes.
