The Regulation provides for the classification of water resources in New Brunswick, in compliance with the Clean Water Act. The classes of water for the purpose of classification are the following: Outstanding Natural Waters class, waters in protected areas (AP), water in lakes, ponds and impoundments (AL), class A and class B. The Regulation defines the criteria and the procedures for water classification.
