This Act consists of four sections and is divided into five Parts. It establishes the State Water Corporation as a statutory State owned corporation to exercise functions relating to the capture, storage and release of water and other functions.The objectives of the Corporation are to capture, store and release water in an efficient, effective, safe and financially responsible manner. The Act is completed by four schedules applying to any transfer of assets, rights or liabilities, of staff and to the amendment of others Acts and regulations.
