These Regulations prescribe measures, to be taken both by owners of animals and public officers, to prevent the spreading of rabies. The Regulations provide for the following: licensing of quarantine and observation centres; restrictions on and permits for the import of animals, carcasses and animal products; licensing of dogs; licence fees; vaccination of animals; rabies control areas; etc.
