The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to inland harbours in Brandenburg. The text consists of 43 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Sphere of application, definition of terms (1); Competencies and tasks of the competent traffic authority (2); Operations in inland harbours (3); Duty to report (4); Traffic and mooring of inland ships (5); Transhipment and stocking of goods (6); Additional provisions for inland harbours, in which hazardous goods are dealt with (7); Penalties, transitional and final provisions (8).
