The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to reduction of water pollution through quality standards and special programmes. In particular, the Ordinance sets out quality requirements for certain substances and lists programmes for the reduction of pollution through the said substances within the water resources management. Article 3 establishes that the competent water authority adopts programmes to reduce the pollution of surface water as listed in the Annex. The text consists of 4 articles and 1 Annex.
