This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for preparing and entering into water use contracts related to concessions of federal and municipal surface water bodies for the following purposes: (a) water abstraction; (b) recreational water use; and (c) hydropower generation. The right to conclude water use contracts shall be granted through sales at auction.
