This Act establishes the Tourist Board and provides for its functions and powers and organization. The Board shall be responsible for the development of the tourist industry and carry out other functions assigned to it under this Act. The Act also defines the functions and powers of the Director of Tourism who shall be part of the Board, defines regulation-making powers of the Minister and provides with respect to licensing of the tourist industry.
