The present Regulations were made under the Mineral Resources Act, 1959 which was repealed, but these Regulations continue in force under the Crown Minerals Act. The Regulations lay down comprehensive provisions relating to disposal of rights, the property of the Crown, natural accumulations of soluble mineral salts and associated marls.
