This Ministerial Decree establishes that Federal Fisheries Agency shall be responsible for elaboration and validation of water quality standards for fishery waterbodies, including maximum concentration limits of pollutants in the water, by agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology in accordance with specialized research for the purpose of establishment of maximum concentration limits of chemicals, radioactive substances, micro-organisms and other water quality indices.
