This Decision approves the planning on zoning of areas for the exploration, mining, processing and use of raw material minerals such as white limestone, feldspar, kaolin and magnesite. The objectives of the planning shall include: to concentrate on the exploration in surveyed and assessed mines of these raw material minerals in order to have reliable deposits for mining and processing activities in planned periods; to recover to the most natural resources in mining and processing activities through the use of advanced technology; and to protect the eco-environment in localities where mineral activities are carried out. The Decision, among other things, provides for environmental protection measures including: taking adequate measures to protect the environment in mineral exploration, mining, processing and use by observing regulations on solid wastes, wastewater, emissions, return water recovery; implementing strict regulations on post-mining ground and environmental rehabilitation; and ensuring industrial sanitation and labour safety.
