These Rules make further provision for the formation, registration, operation and management of cooperative societies. The Rules provide for: registration of cooperative societies; rights and liabilities of members of cooperative societies; management of cooperative societies; duties and privileges of cooperative societies; properties and funds of cooperative societies; audit; inquiry and inspection; winding up of cooperative societies; appeal, review and revision; offences and penalties; etc. The Rules also contain Schedules providing, among other things, for: preservation and destruction of account books and registers; application forms for the registration of cooperative societies; forms of certificate of registration, etc.
