Presidential Decree No. UP-86 “On development and support of enterprises for procurement, processing and trade of agricultural commodities”.

The President, for the purpose of development and support of enterprises for procurement, processing and trade of agricultural commodities, decrees as follows: (a) local state administration shall organize peasant cooperatives for procurement, supply and trade of agricultural commodities; and (b) to enforce veterinary, sanitary and technological requirements in the process of procurement, processing and trade of agricultural commodities. The Government shall ensure state purchase by public sector entities of foodstuffs from national producers through tenders.
