This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of conservation and protection of the protected area state memorial and nature reserve country-house estate of Lev Tolstoy “Yasnaya Polyana” that is considered object of cultural heritage of natural importance. Nature reserve shall be located in the province of Tula. The institution shall have the purpose of conservation of natural and park landscapes, elaboration and carrying out ecological and environmental protection special complex programs, renewal of historical natural landscape and organization of mass tourism. Land within the boundaries of state memorial and nature reserve country-house estate of Lev Tolstoy “Yasnaya Polyana” shall be allotted on condition of open-ended and free of charge land tenure.
