This Regulation prescribes the manner of the establishment, organization and management of national rapid alert system for food and animal feed. This Regulation shall apply in the event of an incident or potential incident related to food or feed. Notification of an incident or potential incident can be received through the RASFF HR system, the EU RASFF system by the European Commission, the TRACES system, RAPEX system, INFOSAN and other similar systems. This Regulation shall apply: a) when there is an identified hazard related to food or feed; b) when the danger has not been established in relation to food or feed, but there are relevant scientific data showing a link between the consumption of food or feed and the occurrence adverse effects on human health and / or animals;
