This Circular provides for the environmental protection of craft villages. The Circular classifies establishments in craft villages by production type and environment pollution potential as provided for in detail in the text. It provides for the assessment of craft village environmental pollution levels; for environmental impact assessments and environmental protection commitments; for environmental protection conditions that craft villages must satisfy to be recognized; etc. The Circular further provides for responsibilities of agencies, organizations, production households and related individuals to protect the environment in craft villages.
