This Governor’s Decree establishes the modalities of management of fish species for individual personal consumption, recreation and sport. Artisanal and sport fishing shall be authorized for natural persons in all waterbodies except for protected (fishing) areas, fishfarming enterprises and in private waterbodies. Artisanal and sport fishing shall be carried out free of charge except for fishfarming waterbodies. Underwater fishing with harpoons shall be authorized without aqualung and other self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. Acclimatization of new fish species, use of prohibited fishing gear, use of explosives, electric devices, harpooning devices, air guns (except for those authorized for underwater fishing) shall be prohibited. Daily total allowable catch with fishhook fishing gear shall be 10 kilograms of fish species and 10 crayfish species per person.
