The present Regulations are enacted under the Animal Health and Protection Act. For the purpose of the present Regulation “fur farm” means a place where fur bearing animals are maintained or kept in captivity for a commercial purpose or a breeding purpose. The Regulations – consisting of 19 sections – deals with the following aspects: granting of licence, suspension and cancellation of licence, clean and sanitary conditions, duty to report escape, disposal, prohibition, inspection.
