Decree No. 1/10 regulating the environmental assessment requirements for public or private activities which may cause significant damage to environment.

This Decree, consisting of 4 Chapters regulates the environmental assessment requirements for public or private activities which may cause significant damage to environment. It establishes the procedures related to the environmental assessment and research destined to mitigate the environmental risks and a constant control over the polluting activities in a systematic way. In particular, this environmental protecting system aims at controlling the following sectors: potentiality of environmental pollution; equipment and infrastructures; implementation of environmental norms and quality patterns; measures to be taken to protect human health and avoid or reduce any type of emissions; etc.
