This Decree, consisting of 5 articles, creates the Technical Secretariat for Food and Nutritional Security (SETSAN) under the Ministry of Agriculture. It establishes composition, duties and competencies of the above mentioned Secretariat, entitled to carry out interministerial and institutional coordination, to implement the Strategy and Plan of Action for Food and Nutritional Security (ESAN); to promote, assess and monitor programmes and activities related to Food and Nutritional Security and the Human Rights to Adequate Food (DHAA) respecting the specific role of institutions, entities and involved communities.
