The present Directive lays down some amendments to Directive 2006/118/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of groundwater against pollution and deterioration. In particular it amends certain provisions in Annex II, which sets forth threshold values for groundwater pollutants and indicators of pollution.
