This Law provides all necessary conditions, standards, information and technical and financial issues governing the customs and custom related activities on the territory of the Serbian Republic. The Law closely defines the customs borderlines, customs geographical belts, customs crossings, customs goods, customs supervision and control, tariff preferences, customs value, customs procedures and standards to be applied on imports of goods (including all biological items, foods, feeds, and similar) into the Republic of Serbia, exports of goods from Serbia and transit of goods across its territory, rights and obligations of persons who participate in customs procedures, as well as rights and obligations of the customs authorities in customs procedures. The Law is divided into 10 Chapters and 152 articles, including all offences and related penalties.
