This Ordinance provides for the control of the trade in cotton. It requires growers of cotton to register at the office of the nearest inspector and prohibits the purchase or sale of cotton without a licence. Appeal against refusal to grant a licence may be had with the Administrator in Council. Import of cotton requires a permit.
