Norm SEMA No. 9 establishing procedures for the use and exploitation of acacia mearnsii (black wattle).

This Norm, consisting of 7 articles, establishes procedures for the use and exploitation of acacia mearnsii (black wattle). This Norm aims at regulating the planting procedures for acacia mearnsii forest tree species in silvicultural system. It specifies defined plots, planted in regular spacing and subject to forest management for the production of resin, paper, cellulose, wood and other products/forestry products. Planting and maintenance of this species for forest production purposes can only be made at regular plantations with homogeneous space, in enclosed plots in sketch of the property and identified by geographic coordinates marked with GPS.
