This Resolution, consisting of 20 articles and two Annexes, amends criteria and procedures for environmental licensing of electric power generation projects originated from wind power by adding information a paragraph to article 1 of Resolution CONAMA No. 279. Amendments define wind activity for electric generation, including its control and supervision, classified as: natural wind farm unit, formed by wind turbine, generating electricity; wind farm; wind microgenerator: generating unit of electricity with power not exceeding 100 kW, etc. Annexes specifies terms of reference for Environmental Impact Assessment of Wind Projects and Simplified Licensing Reporting.
