This Resolution, consisting of five Chapters divided into 60 articles, regulates technical procedures for State Environmental Licensing, according to State Law No. 2.257 within the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. It specifies the guidelines for environmental licensing: considering the elements and processes that can cause environmental impact; different criteria for licensing (size, complexity and the potential environmental impact of the activity); including the risk of accidents, installation and operation of the activity; requiring the installation of the Environmental Control System for specific activities; specifying technical processes on the information and documents required from the applicants, evaluating certain provisions in the Ecological and Economic Zones of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (EEZ/MS), the State Water Resources Plan (PERH) and classification of water bodies; compatible installation of the proposed activity with other land use and land occupations (considering the possible incompatibility between different types of activities).
