This Law regulates various issues related to the building, use and maintenance of small hydropower plants/facilities (on the territory of the Tuzla Canton, autonomous district of the Federation of Bosnian and Herzegovina), further defining the conditions and authorities for granting authorizations, connection of small hydropower plants to the general network, supervision and other relevant rules. As defined by this Law, a hydropower plant/facility is a plant dealing with renewable hydro-powered sources of electricity with a total capacity that does not exceed 5 MW. The Law is divided into IV Chapters and 28 articles, including offences and related penalties.
