This Regulation, under the Biofuels Act 2007, consisting of 10 sections and completed by one Schedule, regulates activities relating to the use of biofuel (ethanol) and licensing of activities relating to registration, production, storage and trade and prescribes the type of biofuel and its percentage by volume to be blended in any fuel. The Act sets out procedures and requirements to apply for a licence and deals with the provisions relating to revocation or suspension of licences. The Act further provides for: powers relating to enforcement, investigation, seizure, arrest, etc.; offences; regulation making powers of the Minister; etc.
