This Regulation, consisting of 26 Sections divided into seven Parts and completed by three Schedules, regulates any activity related to veterinary sector. The Regulation is divided as follows: Part 1 Preliminary; Part 2 Practice of veterinary science; Part 3 Registration of veterinary practitioners; Part 4 Complaints and disciplinary proceedings; Part 5 Veterinary hospitals; Part 6 Annual general meeting of veterinary profession; Part 7 Miscellaneous; Schedules 1 to 3 deal with: Declaration relating to the conduct to be observed by veterinary practitioners; Veterinary practitioners code of professional conduct and Penalty notice offences. The Act provides for: registration of veterinary surgeons; principles of veterinary practice; investigations and proceedings; appeals; etc.
