Water Code - Division 6: Conservation, Development, and Utilization of State Water Resources - California Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Law (secs. 12850 - 12875).

This Chapter of Division 6 concerns control and conservation of floodwaters and the prevention of erosion, sediment damages and other damages by floodwaters in the watersheds of the rivers and streams of California. The Chapter sets out the State policy in this respect and concerns public certain financing arrangements.
