Regional state nature reserve “Kokorevsky” shall be classified as complex reserve constituted without land expropriation. It shall perform the following functions: (a) protection of Kokorevo wetlands with rare and endangered wild flora species typical of aapa bogs; (b) protection of wetlands with nesting grounds of rare sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) and other rare bird species; (c) protection of habitats and and migratory routes of migratory bird species; (d) protection of natural habitats of European beaver; and (e) protection of rare and endangered biodiversity. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) all types of felling, timber extraction and collection of non-timber products; (b) application of toxic chemicals; (c) introduction of alien species; (d) explosive works; (e) exploration and mining; and (f) passage and parking of motor vehicles.
