This Order, consisting of 88 articles divided into 12 Chapters and ten Annexes, establishes the complementary national rules for the application of the National Apicultural Programme (NAP) for 2017-2019. It was approved by EU Commission Decision 2016/1102 of 5 July, in accordance with EU Regulation No. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December and of EU Commission Regulation No. 2015/1368 of 6 August. The measures provided for in the NAP are intended to improve the production and marketing conditions for apicultural products, as follows: a) Measure 1, 'Technical assistance to the sector', Measure 1A 'Technical assistance services to beekeepers'; (II) Measure 1B 'Improving processing conditions for honey'; (III) Measure 1C 'Promotion on the domestic market'; b) Measure 2: 'Fight against varroasis - Integrated fight against varroasis', comprising: (I) Measure 2A 'Medicinal products and waxes'; (II) Measure 2B 'Analyzes'; c) Measure 3, 'Rationalization of transhumance - Acquisition of transhumance equipment'; d) Measure 4 'Improving the quality of honey - Support for laboratory testing'; e) Measure 5, 'Restocking of beekeeping - Distribution of selected native queens'; f) Measure 6 'Research and development - Support for applied research projects'.
