Conservation and Environmental Management (Amendment) Act, 2017 (No. 5 of 2017).

This Act amends Conservation and Environmental Management Act, 2014 by inserting in section 2 the definition of "Trade in Endangered Species Act", and in section 79 — (a) by inserting “and the Trade in Endangered Species Act” after “Act” wherever it appears; and (b) in subsection (2), by inserting "specimen," between "object" and "or". Section 79 concerns scientific evidence and admissibility of evidence in any proceeding under the principal Act or the Trade in Endangered Species Act.
