These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Act Governing the Administration of Food Safety and Sanitation. According to the Act, the central competent authority may establish a food safety protection fund for protecting the consumer's right in the event of food safety. These Regulations make provisions for the recipients of the subsidies, application qualifications, review procedures, subsidization standard, etc.
