This Law regulates the communal cleanliness/urban waste disposal and urban waste management rules (to be respected on the territory of the Canton of Sarajevo). The provisions here stipulated are primary related to the removal and disposal of municipal waste, destruction and disposal processing of municipal waste. This Law officially establishes the obligations of companies, other legal entities and citizens as regards the maintenance of urban land and urban space in terms of sanitation and minimum hygienic conditions to be fulfilled; and also sets the related financial aspects and terms. This Law is divided into VII Chapters and 77 articles, including offences and related penalties (see article 69-75).
