These Measures are formulated for the purposes of strengthening the administration of physical geological data. The Measures consist of 18 Articles. The competent geology and mineral resources department of the State Council shall be responsible for the supervision and administration of the submission, storage and use of physical geological data throughout the country. The competent departments of land and resources should establish and improve the service mechanism, strengthen supervision and inspection, and improve the social service ability of physical geological data.
