This Regulation provides for complete technical rules to be observed for the purpose and means of the statutory certification of inland vessels on the territory of the Republic of Croatia and operating on its inland waterways. Object of this text is to provide all necessary technical requirements and reference standards aimed at ensuring the safety of inland waterway vessels. This text is in accordance with requirements list in the Directive (EU) 2016/1629 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 September 2016 laying down technical requirements for inland waterway vessels, amending Directive 2009/100/EC and repealing Directive 2006/87/EC The Annex is also part of this publication (Annexes I-V; containing the list of all registered inland waterways of the European Union; and lists of detailed procedural and technical provisions).
