This article of the Arizona Revised Statutes concerns water rights registration. More specifically, it provides for claim of right to withdraw, divert or use public waters, exception and administration by director of water resources; contents of statement of claim, filing procedure and fee; waiver and relinquishment of water right; filing of claim not deemed adjudication of right, presumption and exemption; water rights claims registry; no rights acquired by adverse use or adverse possession; future rights acquired through appropriation and rights within service area of agricultural or municipal provider; reversion of rights due to nonuse, notice, hearing, order and exception; and overstating claim and classification.
