This Act in Article 1 define pesticides, and requires a manufacturer or importer of pesticides to register three months in advance with the competent authority to obtain authorization to place pesticides on the market. The Minister may, for reasons of public health, prohibit introduction of pesticides in the free circulation of good or impose conditions on introduction of such pesticides. The Act extensively provides with respect to enforcement and sanctions.
