This Act upholds the validity of notifications made by the former Government of Hyderabad under section 18 of the Forest Act No. 1 of 1326 Fasli declaring certain forests as reserved forests. The Act states that no notification shall be deemed to be invalid only because such notification did not fix a date from which the forest is declared to be reserved forest. The Act further clarifies that any declaration of forest as reserved shall be deemed to be from the date of publication of the said notification in the Jareeda except as otherwise provided therein.
