The present Government Decree contains provisions regarding special support under Article 5(3) of the State Aid Act (688/2001) that is granted from state funds for projects concerning measures to promote safety, reliability, and preparedness in relation to water services and dams. Support is granted and disbursed within the framework of the funds allocated in the state budget. State aid may be granted for projects that: 1. Promote risk management, preparedness for disruption situations, and safety regarding water services and dams; 2. Promote regional cooperation in water services or promote mergers of water utilities; or 3. Improve safety, reliability, and preparedness regarding water services and dams in other ways.
