This Act amends the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (principal Act). New provisos are added after the proviso to sub-section (4) of section 4 of the principal Act. Sub-section (6) of section 4C is amended. Clause (ee) of section 14K is substituted and clause (a) of section 14R is amended. The provisos and explanation I to section 14Y are amended and explanation II is omitted. Sub-section (1) of section 14Z is amended.
