This Decree creates the Central Emergency Room for the early response to forest fire season in the State of Mato Grosso (SSC-MT) for the early response to forest fire season in the State of Mato Grosso. The purpose of the SSC-MT is to strengthen monitoring, technical deliberation, resource optimization and rapid response to illegal burning and forest fires, in an integrated manner with the various levels of government. Prevention, preparedness and accountability actions will be subsidiary actions, in accordance with the actions defined as priorities by SSC-MT. The SSC-MT will be linked to the State Secretariat for Public Security (SESP/MT), through the Deputy Secretariat for Operational Integration (SAIOP). The SSC-MT is responsible for: monitor the situation of illegal burnings and forest fires in the State; promote, in the central emergency room and from a unified command, the sharing of information on ongoing operations; seek joint solutions to combat forest fires; optimize resources; and make data available to society, giving information and transparency to its ongoing actions.
