This Regulation prescribes the technical evaluation of fire resistance among other related requirements that a building must meet in the event of fire, for the purpose of preventing the spread of fire and smoke inside, preventing the spread of fire to neighbouring buildings or environment. The provisions of this text shall be applied to the design and construction of new buildings of premises, and for reconstruction of the same. Tables, graphic representations and a list of Croatian norms are contained in Annexes 1 to 6 of this text. This text further contains provisions that are in accordance with the several acts of the European Union (listed in article 2).
