This Act amends the Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 (principal Act). In the principal Act, section 2 is amended to insert new clauses (a-ii), (hh-i) and (m-i) for definitions of administrator, executive magistrate and government sponsored business, respectively. Clause (d) of section 19-A is omitted. New section 20-A is added after section 20 of the principal Act, providing for training for the members of the cooperative societies. In section 48, sub-section (10) is substituted and in section 48-A, sub-section (4) is substituted. Clause (b) of section 48-C is substituted and sub-sections (2), (3), (4) and (7-A) of section 49 are substituted. Further, sections 49-E, 50, 53, 54, 56, 57-A, 57-C, 57-D, and 58 of the principal Act are amended. Sections 80 and section 90 of the principal Act are amended.
