Tyrol Tourism Act 2006 (TTG).

The Tyrolean Tourism Act 2006 (TTG 2006) governs the legal framework for organizing, funding, and overseeing tourism activities in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The law mandates the establishment of regional tourism associations (Tourismusverbände) by the state government, defining their structure, membership, duties, and collaborative roles. These associations are tasked with sustainably promoting local and regional tourism, considering economic, social, cultural, ethical, and environmental factors. Their responsibilities include strategic planning, marketing, public engagement, guest services, and support for tourism-related enterprises. The Act also defines a detailed governance structure—comprising general assemblies, supervisory boards, managing boards, chairpersons, and managing directors—and sets standards for financial management, budgeting, and auditing. The Act consists of 49 Articles divided into 4 parts.
