Regulation No. 33 on export permits.

This Regulation sets detailed procedures for obtaining export permits for Greenlandic products. Companies or individuals engaged in commercial activity in Greenland must apply for authorization, providing information on the products, quantities, destination countries, and—when dealing with food products—proof of required health and hygiene approvals for both their own and third-party facilities. Export permits are company-specific, product-specific, and valid only until the end of each calendar year, and whale meat is explicitly excluded from commercial export authorization. Any changes affecting the permit must be reported immediately, and exporters must submit a report of their export activities when the permit period ends. The Ministry of Fisheries and Industry administers the system, may grant exemptions in special cases, and violations can result in fines and confiscation.
